We got it! It’s pretty damaged, but it was on the side of a highway. We’re very happy she still has her canines at least, since finding them would have been impossible.
We’re trying to figure out what’s up with all the tiny holes towards the back of the skull.. We thought it was from squirrels chewing it up for calcium, but the marks do not look the same as on our raccoon. Is it deterioration because of it old age? Or from being out in the elements? Or is it a type of disease the cat may have had? Either way, it makes the skull look very interesting and unique :)
